All Borrowers

  • Loan application - fill out at www.melanietaliaferro.com

  • W-2s for the previous two years

  • Paycheck stubs for the last 30 days

  • Checking & saving account statements for the last two months (all pages)

  • Most recent statement for 401(k)s, stocks, and other investments

  • Photo identification for applicant and co-applicant

Optional Documents for extra income

  • Awards/benefits letter showing current/projected monthly benefits for Social Security, retirement, disability, or pension income received

  • Child support orders showing the current amount receiving

Documents needed if self-employed

  • Copies of the most recent two years' business/personal tax returns (with all schedules)

  • 1099s or K-1 forms (if applicable)

Documents that may be required

  • DD214 for veterans or DD256 for veteran reservists

  • If refinancing: a copy of the current mortgage bill

  • If you've filed for bankruptcy in the past seven years: copies of petition and discharge, including supporting schedules A through K

  • If applicable: Divorce decree

  • If you own one or more rental properties: copies of leases, mortgage statements, homeowners insurance, and property tax statements

  • If not a U.S. citizen: Permanent Resident Card, employment authorization card, or ITIN
